Chennai:
Anti-graft
crusader Anna Hazare decision to join politics may have evoked criticism from
different quarters but prime minister’s adviser for National Skill Development
Council and vice-chairman of Tata Consultancy Services S Ramadorai gives him
credit for keeping the fight against corruption alive.
“If
it was not for Anna hazare, we would accept corruption as fiat accompli,” said
Ramadorai while addressing the 176th Annual General Meeting of
Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“While
I may not endorse his methodologies, I give him credit for keeping the issue
alive, reigning in support from citizens and getting the government to act,” he
said.
