Buy a mobile phone from your post office

of Post has tied up with Pantel technologies to offer PF 301-Bharath
Phone.



The phone has been launched at 400 post offices across the state and
is priced at Rs 1,999 with a free talk time of 1999 minutes on BSNL
network.



Interestingly, the phone, which has a dual sim feature, has built in
Internet access. The instrument comes with a one-year warranty and has
modern features like Whatsapp, Bluetooth, mobile tracker, torch,
Internet Browsing etc.



There is also a very attractive voice plan offer for BSNL customers
and the existing BSNL sim can also be recharged under the offer.





The model phone is now available at all identified post offices and
people are requested to make use of the opportunity to purchase this
mobile phone with exciting features at a nominal rate, according to
Postmaster general Merwin Alexander.



Alexander said that the phones have been a huge hit in Kerala and
Karnataka, where it was launched earlier, and India Post was running
out of supplies. The move to provide mobile phones at the post offices
have been undertaken to boost the India Post’s revenue. Already, India
Post is selling solar lanterns, HMT watches and other products in the
post office, said Alexander.
