National Collateral Management Services Limited (NCML) inaugurated its food testing laboratory at Chennai, adding to its already existing network of laboratories.
The lab has been set up by NCML’s food testing division “CommGrade. During the last one year, NCML has broaden its reach in various parts of the country namely in Vizag, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Indore, Unjha, and Bengaluru. The laboratory was inaugurated by Sanjay Kaul, managing director and chief executive officer, NCML.
The main objective to setup the laboratory is to meet the ever-increasing needs of the food business operators. It intends to cater to the analytical requirements of various industries with primary focus on food and agri sectors. Additionally, it will focus on serving the needs of Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs). The laboratory is well equipped to perform various tests as per the requirements of Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
