MT Dawn Kanchipuram which was berthed in Kamarajar Port on Monday discharged cargo worth 32,000 tonnes . The vessel has been unberthed.
A P Sawhney, additional secretary, ministry of Petroleum along with Barun Mitra, Joint Secretary (Ports), ministry of shipping and Amitabh Kumar, additional director general of Shipping reviewed the situation emanating out of the oil spilled by M T Dawn Kanchipuram following a collision with British vessel B W Maple.
