Reporters targeted by nuke scientist
Chennai:
As the nuclear establishment is trying to allay the fears, a paper written by a former scientist of department of atomic energy slammed the journalists questioning their knowledge about nuclear issues.

A paper ‘Nuclear Energy - How Much Bad It Is’ written by K Periasamy, former scientist with department of atomic energy and circulated at the venue, said: “Do you think a newspaper reporter holding a BA Literature or BA History degree knows and cares more than a nuclear engineer (who lives with his children closest to the reactor than anyone else) about the well being of his family and the public?”

Some reporters at the venue expressed shock over such a report. DAE sources said this is done without their knowledge.

  1. So, in the whole of that big Article you could understand only that line !?

That is precisely the point I am making. You do not want to understand (or unable to understand ?) the complete technical / safety / economical / historical issues on nuclear energy opposition, etc highlighted in my Article.

If you have understood the Article properly and the context in which that statement has been made, you would not have been "shocked". You would have fully understood the rationale behind that statement !
