The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Section Officer, Horticulture Division, Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Sheikh Sarai, Delhi for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs one lakh from the complainant.
A case was registered under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 on the allegations that the Section Officer, Horticulture Division, Delhi Development Authority, Sheikh Sarai, Delhi was demanding a bribe of Rs two lakh for clearing the bills of the complainant.
CBI laid a trap and the accused was caught red handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs one lakh from the Complainant.Searches are being conducted in the office and residential premises of the accused.
