Industry could tap the opportunity to see the latest in machine tools and manufacturing technology from all over the world at the 15th edition of ACMEE 2023, India's premier international exhibition of machine tools, to be held from June 15 to 19th at Trade Centre here.
Organised by the Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (AIEMA), around 435 companies from across the world are participating in the event which will feature 105 international brands. For the first time, there will be a Financial Lounge where sevenmajor financial institutions will be available to transact business.
The event will be inaugurated by Tamil Nadu governor R N Ravi in the presence of Satyakam Arya, Managing Director and CEO, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd and Satish Sadasivan, Managing Director, Schunk Intec India Pvt. Ltd.
K Sai Sathya Kumar, Chairman, ACMEE 2023 told reporters that this exhibition will enable entrepreneurs to see the latest in machine tools and production technology from all over the world and help their efforts to move towards Smart Manufacturing, adopt smart solutions and contribute directly to the Make in India campaign. There will be live demonstrations, product launches and technical sessions that will help industrialists get exposed to the possibilities in the market.
“We will set up a Finance Lounge where there will be a number of major financial institutions participating to help businesses obtain finance for their purchases at the event. They are Indian bank, South Indian Bank, ICICI Bank Ltd, SIDBI, Sundaram Finance Ltd, Siemens Finance Services, Electronica Finance Ltd and Ezlease Ventures Pvt Ltd.,” added Kumar.
The theme for ACMEE 2023 is Smart Manufacturing, the third edition in a row that it is having the same theme. Smart Manufacturing is a combination of various technologies and solutions, including artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, cybersecurity, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and blockchain that are implemented into a manufacturing ecosystem to optimize manufacturing processes by generating and/or accepting data. The focus is the use of information technology in machinery to monitor production processes, automate manufacturing and the use of data analytics to improve manufacturing processes
