C V Deepak is new Chennai Airport director

CV Deepak is the new Chennai Airport Director. He took charge from S S Raju, who was officiating as Chennai Airport Director. Prior to this, Deepak was working as the General Manager (Finance & Accounts) Taxation Cell, Corporate Headquarters, New Delhi.

He joined Airport Authority of India as a management trainee and was posted as Manager (Finance and Accounts) Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi in 1996 June and later worked in various capacities in Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi Airports and also with the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA).

He has served as General Manager (Finance & Accounts) in Chennai Airport from June 2015 -January 2021. A Commerce graduate from Loyola College, University of Madras, he is also a cost and management accountant and has acquired his MBA with specialisation in finance from faculty of management studies in New Delhi, a release stated.
