It is not charity but jobs that can lift the individuals from poverty: expert

Chennai:
It is not charity but education and development that is key to growth and entrepreneurs should work towards generating more jobs, according to Mahatria (formerly T T Rangarajan), founder, Alma Mater and proponent of infinitheism.
Addressing 111 successful entrepreneurs, Rangarajan, who propounded the infinitheism path to satisfy the world’s hunger for a new way of life, said that charity keeps a poor person poor while stressing the need for entrepreneurs to generate jobs so that it would help in the growth of nation.
Hitting out at the votebank politics and free subsidies, Mahatria said that this has resulted in poor remaining poorer. “Charity is like telling people stay where you are and we will feed you,” he said.
“We need entrepreneurs not Mother Teresas so that more jobs are created which will help in lifting individuals and families,” he added.
Talking of transition management, he said it is integral part of life and there is no book available to guide oneself. He also highlighted that in bid to attain success, entrepreneurs think money as efficient resource and forget the importance of time.
He said the entrepreneurs should set employment goals rather than financial goals.
Mahatria said that entrepreneurship is a key driver of economy and wealth and a high majority of jobs are created by small businesses started by entrepreneurially minded individuals, many of whom go on to create big businesses.
Urging the entrepreneurs for the need of a larger vision, he said they should work on creating a global brand rather than thinking locally. “Don’t die as another human being, do something historic. Can you be a Indian who can create a global brand,” he said.
Infinittheism is the path that provides breakthroughs and allows the human spirit to realize its humongous and boundless potential.
