Ma Foi Connecting Dots to raise $5m from private equity

City based management consulting company Ma Foi Strategic Consulting Pvt Ltd, the holding company of a fledgling group with interests in consulting, analytics and elearning, on Wednesday announced the launch of a new venture Ma Foi Connecting Dots Advisory.

Addressing a press conference here, founder and chairman of Ma Foi Strategy Consulting K Pandiarajan said the new venture has been floated with four industry veterans and is a first of its kind to provide holistic solutions focused on operationalising strategy, enterprise performance management, performance enhancement and transformation, building advanced capabilities in the field of defence and aerospace and 360 degree growth solutions for small and medium enterprises.

He also said that Connecting Dots plans to raise around $5 million to $7 million from private equity for the consulting company. He said Connecting Dots is also open to acquiring boutique consulting firms in the finance firms.

V Sunder, managing director at Ma Foi Connecting Dots said the depth and quality of advisory available to the Indian manufacturing industry leaves a lot to be desired as there are no domain experts to hand hold which in turn impacts the entrepreneurs.

“Currently, the focus will be on aerospace, general engineering, auto components and defence verticals. We are adopting a hub and spoke model with large offices in key metros and satellite offices in remote industrial hubs to ensure we can service our clients on a real time basis,” Sunder said.
