Chennai: Servion, a specialist in the Customer
Interaction Management (CIM) domain on Wednesday announced that it has signed
acquisition agreements with JAMS UK and JAMS India.
JAMS specializes in developing software products used in
Contact Centers and comes with ready skill sets that are complementary to
Servion’s skillsets in the CIM space. With the acquisition, JAMS becomes a
fully owned subsidiary of Servion.
Speaking on the occasion, K Balakrishnan, Managing
Director and Chief Executive Officer of Servion said “The acquisition widens
our footprint and network in UK – a region that is becoming critical for us,
given several large multimillion, multi-country deals we are currently working
on. The acquisition also gives us a new development center in Pune, India.”
“The acquisition provides JAMS access to Servion’s deep
skillsets in the domain, large pool of highly experienced resources and its
global footprint. I believe that this will provide significant value to
existing customers and help drive the relationship to the next level” he added.
Mark Pritchard, founder of JAMS says “The acquisition is
perfect both in terms of a cultural fit and the products and resources offered
by Servion. The combination of JAMS and Servion will enable sustainable growth
in the UK as well as providing access to new markets for the JAMS suite of
products.
This move has been effected at a very strategic point for
Servion that is at inflection point and geared to widen its sales and support
network around the world. The acquisition will play a significant role in
enabling Servion achieve that.
