Totalgaz, (formerly known as Total LPG India Ltd) the wholly-owned Indian arm of France's Total SA has inaugurated its 1st AutoLPG Dispensing Station in Chennai.
B Vijay Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of Total Oil India Private Limited inaugurated the 1st AutoLPG Dispensing Station of Totalgaz, M/s Visu Fuel Hub in Madipakkam making it convenient for the light vehicles fitted with eco-friendly fuel, LPG’s. He further added that the company will continue to invest in setting up more Totalgaz AutoLPG Dispensing Station.
Speaking on the occasion B Vijay Kumar highlighted the focus and the progress of the Group in developing the retail network in all major cities in South India. He said, Chennai customers could now look forward to international quality and service levels at Totalgaz outlets. Also present on the occasion were Prakash Jonnalagadda, Executive Director & CEO (Total Oil India Private Limited, LPG Division) and J Chandrasekaran, Proprietor, M/s Visu Fuel Hub along with Mr. SS Krishnamoorthi. Currently the per litre rate of LPG is Rs 47.10 making it cost effective than petrol or diesel costing Rs 70.39 and Rs 51.80 respectively.
