Kamal Hasan urges Jaya to inaugurate FICCI Frames

It was a humble appeal to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa from veteran actor-filmmaker Kamal Hassan on Monday to participate in the FICCI Frames 2012 to be held in September 27-28.

Kamal, who is also the chairman FICCI Media Entertainment Business Conclave, added glamour to Federation of Indian Chamber of Industry’s National Executive Committee meeting by springing a surprise with his sudden participation at the event.

Sharing the dais with the state Industries Minister B Thangamani and Finance Minister, he apologized at his sudden intervention and later made a fervent plea to the Chief Minister to inaugurate FICCI Frames to mark 100 years of cinema.
