Chennai:
In a bid to consolidate its position in the executive
segment of motorycycles, Bajaj Auto has launched Discover 125T, an extension of
the new Discover platform.
Addressing
a press conference here on Wednesday, Bajaj’s general manager motorcycle sales
Aswin Jaikanth and zonal manager sales manager R Guruprasad said that Discover
125T is the latest addition to the Discover family.
The
bike priced at 54,000 is way ahead of its compatriot Honda Shine and Glamour,
claimed Jaikanth stating that Discover 125T has added advantage over other
bikes.
The
bike while retaining the signature design of the new Discover range comes with
Nitrox Twin Shock Suspension, an optional disc brake and along convenient
seat. Powered by Bajaj’s patented
four-valve DTS-I engine, the Discover 125T delivers 12.Ps of power while
maintaining fuel efficiency.
Jaikanth
says that they plan to sell 3,000 bikes in Tamil Nadu this month.
