Infiltration, national security to be the focus of RSS meet in Chennai

Chennai:
Infiltration in border areas and the prevailing security situation in country are some of the issues which are likely to be discussed during the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s three-day National Executive Council meet here.

Speaking after the inauguration of the RSS National Executive Council meet at Kelambakkam on the city outskirts here on Friday, RSS Joint General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabele highlighted the problem of infiltration in the country and said only political will and determination of the people can help find a final solution to the vexed problem.
Hosabale blamed infiltrators from Bangladesh for violence in Assam this year and stressed the need for identification of Bangladeshi infiltrators who are present in large number in India.
Those who are identified should be declared non-citizens with their names being removed from the voters list and deported to Bangladesh, he said.
On India Against Corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal’s allegations that UPA and NDA governments favoured Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, Hosabale said Kejriwal should provide proof. RSS does not support the corrupt or corruption and it is for individuals and their parties to explain the charges levelled against them
He also said Vivekananda Kendra in Kanyakumari is organizing the event to celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and a committee has been formed to prepare plans to celebrate it across the country from November 19.
A RSS spokesman later told Express that the focus of the meet is primarily on infiltration and national security. The focus will also be on ties with China and the marking of 50-years of India-China conflict in 1962.
