Pratibha Cauvery likely to be berthed in Chennai Port

Chennai:
The salvaged oil tanker Pratibha Cauvery is likely to be berthed in Chennai Port for two days.

Port officials told Express that the ship, which is anchored outside Chennai Port after being salvaged from Pattinapakkam near Marina beach on November 11, is expected to be berthed in Chennai Port on Wednesday morning for Indian Register of Shipping inspection.

Port officials said after the inspection it will be left to the owner to decide the fate of 31-year-old tanker on whether it will go to dry dock or the yard. Port officials said the ship is also likely to get its anchor connected during the two days.
