Cong ready to sit in opposition, says Gopanna

Chennai:
Congress has been in power for 10 years and it is ready to sit in the opposition, according to veteran Congress leader and Tamil Nadu Congress Committee executive committee member A Gopanna.
Speaking after releasing the book titled ‘The Ever Fragrant Roses’, written by S D S Rajadhevan, a former Union government standing counsel and retired superintendent of police CBCID, Gopanna said in case Modi becomes prime minister Congress will act as a responsible opposition party.
He said if the results are not favourable for the party that does not mean it is end of Congree party.
“The party has been there for more than 125 years and it will continue to do so,” he said.
