Jaya slams critics says ‘History written by those who are victorious’

Chennai:
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday hit out at her critics who doubted her goal to make the state ‘numero uno’ and said history is written by those who are victorious.
Speaking after inaugurating the Rs 4,400 crore Daimler Commercial Vehicles Plant here on Wednesday, she said, “Some critics always raise the doubt – Is this possible. Leaders make things possible. Exceptional leaders make them inevitable. When people doubt me, I make them believe with my success.”
The Chief Minister, who outlined her vision to make the state the most prosperous one in the next 11 years, said, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
“The reason most people never reach their goals is that they do not define them or ever seriously consider them as achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way and who will be sharing the adventure with them. History is written by those who are victorious,” she added.
