HP launches new computing products



Chennai:
Hewlett Packard India on Tuesday launched new computing products including a hybrid device that can  be used as a notebook as well as a tablet.

The devices that were launched include HP Pavilion x2 hybrid PC in consumer segment and HP Elitebook Revolve 810, Probook 430 and Elite 800 series notebooks in commercial segment.

Addressing a press conference here, Sunish Raghavan, country category head – personal systems (commercial) printing and personal systems, said that the products are priced in the range of Rs 27,000 to Rs 80,000.

HP Pavilion x2 is a hybrid device that can be used as a notebook as well as tablet. It also offers Windows 8.1 operating system and the hybrid device is available with 64GB and 128 GB of storage.

To a query on consumers now migrating to mobile phone devices from laptops and personal computers, Raghavan said that the market for PCs is still attractive as consumers find personal computers more easy to operate.
