Chennai:
G Chandramouli is the new Airport Director of Chennai International Airport. Her succeeds Deepak Shastri, who retired on Wednesday.
Chandramouli, who served as airport director in Pune, Calicut and Trivandrum from July 2009 to June 2012, was working as Chief General Manager (commercial) before succeeding Shastri.
It was during his tenure at Trivandrum that the new International Terminal was formally inaugurated by the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Chandramouli was also the mana ging director of the Kannur International Airport Ltd., ( KIAL), Kerala. He was on deputation for a period of three years from July 2013 to July 2016, which is a public private partnership model airport. He is married to Bhageerathi and has two children.
