Chennai:
Union Minister of state for Commerce and Industry E M Sudarshana Natchiappan on Saturday vowed to help Tamil Nadu government attain its monorail dreams.
The minister told reporters that state government has requested for funds worth Rs 5740 crore for implementing the monorail project.
JICA is ready to fund the project but they are seeking a detailed project report first, he said.
He said the government of India is ready to give its assistance for this project
