Chennai Port gets new financial advisor

Chennai:

The Union Shipping Ministry has appointed G Senthilvel as financial adviser and Chief Accounts Officer of Chennai Port Trust. 

Prior to his appointment, he was the chief manager (finance) of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust for more than two years and had also worked as financial advisor and chief accounts officer of Kandla Port Trust.  He is a cost accountant as well as MBA (Finance). 

He has wide experience in Project Management and was heading port planning and development department of JNPT, when the Capital Dredging Project of Rs 1,500 crores was awarded to Boskalis.  He is also actively involved in construction of Ennore Port Project
