CMDA names officials to head enforcement and completion certificate wings

After reorganizing its enforcement cell, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority on Tuesday named four officials to head the four divisions of newly constituted Completion Certificate and Enforcement Action wings.

CMDA member secretary R Venkatesan said that completion Certificate wing which has North and central and south divisions will be headed by deputy planner P Gajendran (044-28414855) and deputy planner C Mohan Raj (044-28414855 extn 375) respectively.

Similarly, the Enforcement Action Wing divided into north and central and south divisions would be headed by deputy planner Rudiramurthy (044-28414855 extn 365) and deputy planner R Magudapathy respectively (04428414855 extn 385).

 The decision comes in the wake of Monitoring Committee recommending that enforcement cell in CMDA set up separate wings earmarked for issuing completion certificate as well as enforcement action.

Currently, enforcement cell comprises of three divisions in north, central and south Chennai and deal with completion certificate, refund or forfeiture of deviated security deposit and pursuing enforcement action on unauthorized, CMDA said.
