Chennai : The Chennai chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs, TiE Chennai 2013 has announced call for participation for the Power PitchFest – a unique platform for entrepreneurs from across Tamil Nadu to present their business ideas to angel investors, private equity firms, and high net worth individuals to get funding and mentoring support.
Interested entrepreneurs can submit their online application on or before September 30th 2013. The application form is available on http://tiecon.tiechennai.org
Commenting on the activity, Subramaniam Iyer, Head of PitchFest Committee, TiECON 2013 said; "We believe in engaging and constantly providing the best support for the deserving entrepreneurs to ensure their dreams come true. All the support and encouragement has been overwhelming resulting in our footprint expansion to Coimbatore and Madurai cities for this year. We at TiE will constantly guide, mentor and ensure that these commendable entrepreneurs achieve their professional goals and be a part of their successful journey."
Power PitchFest is organized as part of TiECON Chennai, one of the largest conferences for budding entrepreneurs to find mentors and veterans who could help them shape their business ideas, while growth-stage entrepreneurs can pitch their business models to professional investors to get funding. This year, apart from Chennai, the PitchFest will also be held in Coimbatore and Madurai cities too. Preliminary rounds will take place on the 12th of October in Chennai.
On November, 11, the shortlisted entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to pitch their product /services to VCs and Angel investors as part of TiECON Chennai 2013, which is expected to be attended by over 1200 business leaders from various fields.
