BSNL to provide 3G data connection to all its customers

From this September, BSNL postpaid customers will get enhanced speeds of 3G without any speed restriction, blurring the demarcation between 2G and 3G speeds.

A BSNL spokeswoman said that BSNL has rationalised the post paid data plans with effect from September 1.  

In view of this all the existing 2G and 3G postpaid data plans will be withdrawn and customers are requestred to submit option form for the new data plans, viz., 1GB, 2GB, 5 GB and 10GB depending on their usage pattern.  

The rates for these plans are Rs.125, 225, 501 and 901 respectively. The charge for additional data usage over and above the free data limit will be only 1 paise per 10 kb.

Customers are requested to submit their option form without fail. If no option is submitted, BSNL will put the customers in suitable plan. More details can be had from www.bsnl.co.in or call centre on 1503.
